Greg Orcutt has been a member of Our Lady of Walsingham since 1994.  He completed his M.A. in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas soon thereafter, writing his thesis on the obligations imposed by promise in Aquinas.  After teaching for five years in Catholic high schools in this diocese, he left Houston to join a Benedictine monastery, staying only a year but leaving with a renewed love for the Rule of St. Benedict and it relevance to modern life for all Christians, regardless of their state in life.  Teaching the occasional course give him a release from his current IT job at the University of Texas.
